It too has become more individualistic as we each invest in the fanciest computer-chip sewing machines. =(
A fancy machine does not necessarily make a beautiful quilt!Aimeehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04570718941895225222noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5172018271137170502.post-26317999122061648322011-02-27T05:57:44.531-06:002011-02-27T05:57:44.531-06:00I loved this post. This is yet another lost art in America as we have fallen head over heels into individualism, duped into thinking that it is freedom.

I long for a quiet afternoon tea with friends...and a quilting bee!Debrahhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00834893724547036641noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5172018271137170502.post-23280199784710486372011-02-26T10:46:20.654-06:002011-02-26T10:46:20.654-06:00Anna - wearing a warmed tea cozy hat sounds wonder...Anna - wearing a warmed tea cozy hat sounds wonderful about now, with all this snow around! =)

LoLM - you're welcome - glad you like them!

Jess - nope. They are one of those useful but very low tech things that don't seem to get a lot of use, but as you demonstrate they can be quite fun!Annahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16511792627184497407noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5172018271137170502.post-14167610453482332582011-02-19T13:20:12.340-06:002011-02-19T13:20:12.340-06:00dust bags!! I agree that more people would like tea if they had really good tea.
Lucky for us we have a great tea shop in town that sells loose-leaf tea by the ounce.
But, I have to say my favorite tea is Yorkshire (from England). Comes in a bag, but it's way better than Lipton's! (and somewhere around here you can even buy it loose leaf.)Aimeehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04570718941895225222noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5172018271137170502.post-44238000379192743632011-02-19T12:55:37.423-06:002011-02-19T12:55:37.423-06:00I 100% agree. I always pass on those dust bags that they like to pass off as tea. More people would drink tea if they knew how good it could be.Jane @ Hard Work Homesteadhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02905658082120445313noreply@blogger.com
