Framed

The building process around here is getting more and more exciting. After the rough framing (which I showed last week), the builders added more for the walls and roof...

framed in the windows...

put on some sheathing...

and then cut out the window holes.

The windows arrive today and we're pretty excited about them going in. It's amazing how much more spacious and bright it is upstairs. This has also been a cool experience (I'm pretty sure) for Jeremy, who, as an architect, has seen very little, if any, of the projects he's worked on. He's always been part of a bigger team and other people went out to the site to check on things. It's quite a thing to design something and then see it built through the whole process.

I love the picture of the tree branch coming down into the attic.
